Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
Oftentimes I've heard the phrase 'make it make sense'. That's usually when people want answers and clarity. They need a second opinion in a confusing situation.
In my life I've faced many moments of confusion. I've wasted time looking at the problem and trying to make my own understandings of things. It wasn't until I remembered one simple truth, and that is-- that God is never the author of confusion, but of peace. (1 Corinthians 14:33)
See, what I've realized is that those confusing moments were distractions sent from the enemy. They would especially come whenever I was moving deeper in my purpose. Or, whenever I wanted to get closer to God, or even generate new creative ideas.
Now, the enemy is crafty, but he has no new tricks. It's true there is nothing new under the sun. Over time I'd begin to see patterns in the enemy's schemes and tactics. He may use new approaches and different people, but he can never use any new tricks.
1 Peter 5:7 says, Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for us. As Believers, we don't have to worry because God will carry our burdens and take care of us. The devil has to work overtime to try to thwart God's plans over our lives. I can declare, in confidence, that whatever God has assigned and prescribed to us-- it is ours and it will happen. When we focus on God, we have assurance that despite the enemy's smoke and mirrors, we have already won the battle. I've learned to give the problem to God, because only God can handle whatever I'm facing. I've realized I can no longer waste time worrying about what a predetermined loser (the devil) may be doing to try to stop me. With God we already have Victory over any problem in our lives.
This is a message of encouragement to stand in confidence knowing God has already worked everything out. Be encouraged, maintain a sober mind, use discernment, and most importantly lean and depend on God to take control over your circumstances, and conquer your confusion.
